SANTASTICO (9) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at this track over 6f when beaten half a length. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will play a major role. ROSALIA (2) improved sharply on her tenth two starts back at Mornington with a win over 6f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. COME ALONG JEFFREY (3) comes here fresh from an all-the-way win by a neck over this journey at Ballarat on June 30. Another bold showing expected.
