STEEL JIMMY (5) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and led into the straight before faded out of it, finishing fourth over 7f at Ballarat. Sure to take running down. EURO DANDY (1) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished 7 lengths back in tenth on turf over 7½f at Bendigo most recently. Blinkers have been removed. Should be in the finish. SPEEDTAIL (8) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fourth at Sandown-Hillside and beaten 1.4 lengths. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Sure to be competitive. DOCINTHE (6) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Terang two starts back then got the job done by a neck last time out over 6½f at Echuca. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
