MS HUBBLE (4) faced the starter for the first time and finished 11th last start at Donald over 6f, beaten 9 lengths. Improvement to come and the addition of blinkers is a positive sign. BATTLE JACK (1) is a gelding by Long Leaf who was an AUD $ 85,000 (Magic Millions 2023 Perth Yearling Sale) purchase and is produced at the races for the first time. Yet to be seen at the trials but profiles well and may pay to watch for a betting push. BUBBLES TIME (2) is a two-year-old filly on debut by Reward For Effort from Lady Gwendyln who has been a prolific producer of winners. Has not trialled prior to coming here. Promising type who is one to keep tabs on in the betting. FOR BETTER (3) is a two-year-old filly at the races for the first time. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Better Than Ready from Freezethemillions. Has not trialled prior to coming here. Sure to be well-educated, being from the Peter G Moody & Katherine Coleman stable. Looks one of the better chances despite a tricky draw.
