BANGERANG REDBACK (1) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish sixth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks. Likely to measure up. DERBY DOWNS (2) produced a solid effort last time when sixth over 6f at Gawler after he gave away a big start. The extra journey should play into his hands. Sure to be thereabouts. THE LADIES MAN (8) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1m at this track when beaten 0.6 lengths. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the main contenders. HASSLEFREE (6) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 7f at this track. Back-marker who keeps coming. Can run on into the finish.
