SAMURAI STAR (4) ran below expectations last time at Wangaratta, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 3/1. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ALMONTI (3) has been knocking on the door with a couple of recent placings, the latest when third at Ballarat, and gets some weight relief. Will find this a little easier than last time. Sure to go well. CHEVALIER DU FAU (7) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on July 24 finishing sixth and beaten 8 lengths over 1m4f at Sandown-Hillside. Sure to make his presence felt. MISS BARILOCHE (6) fought on for second last start over 1m at Ballarat, beaten 0.8 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
