ARTIC PANTHER (6) is still a maiden after 12 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Moree two starts back before finishing fourth over 6½f at this track last time. Terrific chance to break through. INTERNATIONAL (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 6f at Moree. Should be close to the speed despite the draw. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. FIRST NIGHT (8) is a 10-start maiden who finished ninth at her most recent appearance over 1m at Scone after she got a long way back in the run. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. IT'S A WRITTEN (10) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 5½f at this track. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and looks suited by the extra ground. Sure to be winding up late.
