DUSAN (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 3 lengths away in fifth over 5f at Grafton after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. SPARKINGLY (14) was doing his best work late last start to get up for second over 5f at Parkes. Expected to be there at the business end. SHE'S A BAD GIRL (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 4½f at Wellington. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. POCKET PICKER (4) has three placings from five appearances this prep and last start finished one length from the winner in second over 5f at Tamworth. One of the contenders.
