OUR SPARKY (10) took advantage of the good draw last time and led for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing 12th and beaten 9 lengths over 7f at Grafton. Will take catching. ROMI (12) is back after a break of four months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5f at Kempsey. Sure to make her presence felt. HUDSON'S LENNY (3) is back after a break of 11 months. At the last run before the layoff he finished ninth over 5¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle). One of the leading chances. LA CACHE A VIN (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f125yards at Grafton, beaten 6 lengths into ninth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
