Strong record with Billy Egan in the irons, including a win. Well placed and should be in the finish. CORTAIN (1) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over this journey at Bendigo. Expected to measure up. OVERFLOW MISS (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 7f at Warrnambool, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. STATE OF MAINE (10) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing fifth over 7f at Hamilton. Top-three prospects.
