XTRA STORMY (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 0.8 lengths back in fourth over 5½f at this track. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. SHE THINKS AHEAD (13) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at Traralgon. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. SUMMER NIGHT (3) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 9 lengths into sixth at his latest appearance over 7f at Echuca. Has enough ability to be competitive in this line-up. KITTYHAWK (12) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at Ballarat. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role.
