LATEST EDITION (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 6f at this track (Turf). Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. JACKSON'S DIXIE (9) improved last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f at this track after being in contention on the bend. Has the class to take care of this field. BANK ON ANNA (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when fourth over 6f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. VEGAS WEEKEND (5) is a six-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Antonio Arriaga stable. Most recently finished in the placings at Monmouth Park (Dirt) before going for a break. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Shapes as a top-three chance.
