SPOKEN BLUNTLY (7) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 6f at this track (Turf) at his latest appearance. Another bold showing is expected. VITALIZE (6) finished seventh when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is all set to build on that latest effort. HARD PAR (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on August 30 finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths over 1m at Saratoga (Turf). Worth plenty of thought. JUDGE RULES (12) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m1f at this track. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
