POMPEII EMPIRE (2) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing 11th over 6f at Morphettville most recently. Has the ability to put the recent run behind him. LIMITED RISK (1) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Kym Healy stable. Finished off last campaign with a win at Strathalbyn four months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Bold showing expected. SUPER SHARP (9) led to the turn over 7f at this track last time out but faded to finish eighth. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Winning claims on best figures. NOBLE MAGNATE (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¼f at Kingscote, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter so a likely improver.
