In-form Dimtri van den Bergh targets World Matchplay and Premier League success
After winning consecutive World Series of Darts titles in Copenhagen and Amsterdam, Dimitri van den Bergh is eager to continue his fine form and win more silverware.
Dimitri van den Bergh is enjoying an incredible vein of form, with the 27-year-old Belgian winning two World Series of Darts titles in the last month.
His first came in Copenhagen at the Nordic Darts Masters, before his latest success in the Dutch Darts Masters in Amsterdam.
With the World Matchplay now fast approaching, Van den Bergh is keen to add more silverware to his 2022 haul.
The two-time World Youth champion did win the World Matchplay back in 2020, but the event was held away from the usual venue of Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

With the tournament returning to Blackpool for this year's event, Van den Bergh is wanting to replicate his success from two years ago.
"My dreams are coming true, the hard work is paying off. I am very proud," said Van den Bergh.
"I already want to play the next tournament. I want to continue this form and win as much as I can.
"I really want to chase another dream of mine by lifting the trophy in Blackpool."
But while the World Matchplay is his short term ambition, the 'DreamMaker' also has his sights set on Premier League success in his career.
Van den Bergh came fifth in the 2021 Premier League, but missed out on the eight-player shortlist in 2022.

"The Premier League is a massive opportunity. You're part of an elite group of players," added Van den Bergh.
"It is the best of the best. You've got to show your best in the biggest tournaments. You have to be winning majors, that is what will get you in the Premier League.
"My goal is to get back in there. I want to be a part of the Premier League again."
