Wimbledon day three acca tips: Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek to keep rolling

Planet Sport's tennis tipster James Richardson presents six solid leads for your Wimbledon accumulator ahead of the third day's play at the All England Club on Wednesday, July 5.

Wimbledon's third day will witness a mixture of the last dregs of first-round action and the outset of the second round.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic is scheduled to be back in the mix on a full third day.

Here we look at six matches from among the many going down on Wednesday.

Wimbledon men's singles second roundAndrey Rublev vs Aslan Karatsev | Pick: Rublev

Wimbledon men's singles second roundJannik Sinner vs Diego Schwartzman | Pick: Sinner

Wimbledon men's singles second round: Jordan Thompson vs Novak Djokovic | Pick: Djokovic

Wimbledon women's singles second round: Alycia Parks vs Ana Bogdan | Pick: Parks

Wimbledon women's singles second roundIga Swiatek vs Sara Sorribes Tormo | Pick: Swiatek

Wimbledon women's singles second round: Daria Kasatkina vs Jodie Burrage | Pick: Kasatkina

Wimbledon men's singles second round: Andrey Rublev vs Aslan Karatsev

Remarkably this will be just the second meeting between compatriots Andrey Rublev and Aslan Karatsev.
Rublev is the current Russian No 2 but he did lose his only previous meeting with Karatsev.
However, the world No 7 sports a 5-1 record on grass this season against a 50/50 win rate for Karatsev.
Rublev will have to move well to ensure he can bring his skills to bear on the contest but he should have the measure of the world No 50.

Wimbledon men's singles second round: Jannik Sinner vs Diego Schwartzman

Jannik Sinner faces a big early test from a player who is better than his world No 98 ranking suggests.
That said Schwartzman has yet to defeat the Italian, losing in all three of their meetings and also failing to win a single set.
Sinner looks like a prototypical grass court player even if he doesn't have a huge amount of experience on the surface with this contest set to be his 20th on turf.
Schwartzman should be bolstered by a confident showing first up when he put Miomir Kecmanovic away but spent half an hour less on court to blow past Juan Manuel Cerundolo.

Wimbledon men's singles second round: Jordan Thompson vs Novak Djokovic

Jordan Thompson's love of grass won't be enough to keep up with the best current player on the surface without question.
Thompson has the potential to make life difficult for Djokovic with his booming serve but the Serbian will no doubt find a way to get enough returns in to take the contest.
The Australian upset Brandon Nakashima in the opening round but spent three and a half hours on court to do so.
Djokovic won't underestimate Thompson's threat, but he will be out to put this first meeting between the players to bed as soon as possible.

Wimbledon women's singles second round: Alycia Parks vs Ana Bogdan

Alycia Parks has been threatening to break out for some time now and her section of the Wimbledon draw is an intriguing one.
Parks won her first title earlier this term and has shown glimpses of the qualities that make a grass court star.
While 30-year-old Bogdan has the edge in experience, she has not been able to win a WTA Tour level title and is the type of player Parks needs to beat if she wants to forge towards being a top 20 or top 10 star.
Bogdan shouldn't be written off having ground her way into main draws at Birmingham and Eastbourne through qualifying.

Wimbledon women's singles second round: Iga Swiatek vs Sara Sorribes Tormo

Iga Swiatek was impressive in her first outing on Wimbledon's Court No 1 but for this one she might get her first Centre Court outing.
The Spaniard eschewed any grass court warm-ups but her stunning upset of Martina Trevisan appeared to vindicate that decision.
Sorribes Tormo doesn't have the kind of power that typically troubles Swiatek though and she would still need to step up her game considerably to pull off a first career win over a reigning world No 1.

This will be the first meeting between the two players currently separated by 83 rungs of the WTA Rankings ladder.

Wimbledon women's singles second round: Daria Kasatkina vs Jodie Burrage

Daria Kasatkina will take on home hope Jodie Burrage and the Russian No 1 starts as the distinct favourite.
The 11th seed cannot afford to look beyond the 108th ranked Brit but the Eastbourne finalist has the game to ease into the third round.
Burrage has already ticked off her goals for this Wimbledon and will play without pressure of expectation and with the backing of her home crowd.
However, it doesn't really help her that her home crowd are the most polite on the circuit as she prepares to take on Kasatkina for the first time.
