Brentford vs Luton tips and predictions: Early goal to set the tone at Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday but they’ll face a tough test against a plucky Luton Town side.
It’s not very often Brentford lose back-to-back Premier League games but there’s no shame in coming up short against Liverpool and Arsenal.
Thomas Frank’s side have avoided defeat in 37 of 51 since the start of last season with 10 of those losses coming against teams in European competition.
Meanwhile, Luton’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace was only their second of the season but the Hatters have created a four-point gap between themselves and the drop zone.
Rob Edwards’ side have given a good account of themselves since promotion but they continue to lose out in games of fine margins.
Despite Town being overwhelming underdogs in every game, only Brighton, Chelsea and Aston Villa have beaten them by a clear margin.
Five of Town’s last six losses have come by a one-goal margin with goals in the 60th minute onwards settling proceedings.
In contrast, the Gtech Community Stadium has been a hive of activity in the first half with the ball hitting the net 14 times in seven matches.
With the hosts shipping 1.57 goals per game there and visitors Luton without a clean sheet so far this season, dare we say Brentford vs Luton could be a positively thrilling goal-fest.

Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Nathan Collins and Kevin Schade have been ruled out due to injury while Ivan Toney is suspended.
Josh DaSilva, Mikkel Damsgaard, Mathias Jensen and Mads Roerslav are all doubts but the latter pairing are closest to a return.
Dan Potts, Mads Andersen, Reece Burke, Marvelous Nakamba and Sambi Lokonga are ruled out for Luton.
Cauley Woodrow and Issa Kabore are major doubts for the visitors.
