Premier League betting tips specials

Bet: Mohamed Salah to score 25+ goals

Bet: Erling Haaland to score 35+ goals

Bet: Newcastle top-four finish and 75+ goals

Liverpool

Can Jurgen Klopp revive heavy metal football at Anfield and challenge for the title? The Reds have looked tired but the midfield has had a much-needed refresh.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's new role and influence coupled with the arrivals of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai is a massive upgrade.
The former has never managed 15+ assists but the price is tempting. Their attacking threat was never in doubt and Mohamed Salah to score 25+ goals is worth a crack.

Luton Town

The Hatters are a measly 1/3 to be relegated from the Premier League. Every game will pit David vs Goliath and you'll get handsome odds if you think they can survive.
It will take a tactical masterclass for Rob Edwards to keep Luton up and we don't see where the goals come from. That said, Planet Sport Bet are offering Carlton Morris to score 15+.
There have been two instances of a relegated team scoring 45+ goals in the past decade so backing Luton to pick up 40+ points is the standout special.

Manchester City

It may look as if City have lost some quality, but Julian Alvarez is likely to be more prominent and Kalvin Phillips could develop. Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic are good additions.

Pep Guardiola's side made a slow start to the 2022/23 Premier League season but still netted 94 goals en route to the title.
Backing them to score 100+ goals this season is a fair bet while the big price on Haaland to net 35+ after scoring 36 last campaign looks like one to exploit.

Manchester United

Can Erik ten Hag's Red Devils challenge their noisy neighbours at the top of the tree? Planet Sport Bet are offering a huge price on 90+ points.
Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund offer an upgrade in three key areas, even if the latter is more of a long-term project.
Marcus Rashford rediscovered his mojo last season and found the net 17 times in 35 matches. If he's fit and firing in a better team, then 20+ league goals is a possibility.

Newcastle United

Our honest opinion is that Newcastle have overachieved since Eddie Howe arrived at St James Park, but that's not a bad thing.
They have a first-class coach and with the financial clout they now possess, they'll continue their upward trajectory. Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes are first-class signings.
We expect them to push for a top-four finish once again and if they can marginally improve their output in front of goal, then the price of a top-four finish and 75+ league goals tempts.

Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest survived by the skin of their teeth last season, having won the same amount of matches as relegated Leicester City.
They've trimmed their bloated squad and added some quality in the form of Anthony Elanga who looks certain to add goals and assists.
The main man will still be Brennan Johnson but Morgan Gibbs-White to score 10+ goals and Taiwo Awoniyi to score 15+ goals are both tempting bets.

Sheffield United

When Sheffield United were promoted under the stewardship of Chris Wilder, their awkward style landed them a ninth-place finish in their first season.
They'll do well to match that having lost the services of top scorer Iliman Ndiaye and influential midfielder Sander Berge, so backing a top-half finish doesn't appeal.
They're just above even money to avoid relegation which does look like a reasonable bet given this year's league looks weaker at the bottom.

Tottenham Hotspur

At the time of writing, we have no idea if Harry Kane leave the club. It seems likely, which could make the price on Richarlison and Son to combine for 25+ goals appealing.

Someone will need to fill the void and no matter how much money you get, will Spurs attract better? Unlikely, so they need to keep Kane at all costs.
His presence alone and fresh input from Ange Postecoglou gives them a good chance of bagging 65+ points and qualifying for Europe.

West Ham United

West Ham have £120 million burning a hole in their pockets but are yet to sign anyone despite the departures of Declan Rice, Gianluca Scamacca and Arthur Masuaku.
We know defensive reinforcements are on the way and investing in at least two strikers would be a good idea, but we've not a lot to go on with the season fast approaching.
Whatever happens, Jarrod Bowen could be key and Planet Sport Bet is offering a big price for him to score 12+ goals, a feat he managed in the 2021/22 season.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

It feels like everything the club built is now well and truly decimated as they usher in a new era. It was meant to be with Julen Lopetegui at the wheel, but he's bolted.

Despite being without a manager, they've got top level players in Matheus Nunes, Pablo Sarabia, Matheus Cunha and Sasa Kalajdzic, who could form a lethal attack.

It would be risky to back a club in disarray, until they at least source a manager, but Wolves to score 50+ goals is the best angle given the talent they have.
