Nottingham Forest vs Fulham tips and predictions: Muniz to continue hot streak against strugglers

Few will have heard of Rodrigo Muniz a couple of months ago, but now he is starting to build a reputation as one of the best young strikers in the league. 

The 22-year-old striker produced a stunning acrobatic finish on Easter Saturday to deny bottom side Sheffield United a rare league win in a 3-3 thriller. 

All of the Brazilian's eight league goals have come in his last eight games and the Cottagers now have an extremely faint European dream, being just five points off seventh-placed West Ham, albeit there are four teams between them and the Hammers. 

Nottingham Forest managed to claim a point at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday and that took them out of the bottom three on goal difference. 

Nuno Espirito Santo's men have won just one league game in 2024 and have struggled to find the back of the net recently, scoring just two in their last four league games. 

Chris Wood has scored 10 this season, but there haven't been many supporting actors in the goalscoring charts this year, with the injured Taiwo Awoniyi next on the list with six.

Forest have had a poor recent record against Fulham, losing eight of their last 10 and all three meetings in the Premier League since both were promoted in 2022 including the 5-0 thrashing in the reverse fixture back in December.

Marco Silva has brought stability to his Fulham side and they have been solid at the back, keeping eight clean sheets this season, only Arsenal and Liverpool have kept more.

They have claimed 10 points from a possible 15 and are one of the in-form sides in the league, but they have been having some difficulties on their travels, winning just two of their 15 games on the road this season.

However, Forest's woeful form gives Fulham a golden opportunity to improve their away points tally, as the home side have lost seven at the City Ground this season, only the newly promoted sides have lost more home games. 

Despite their poor record on the road, we can see Muniz inspiring Fulham to a narrow away victory.
