Columbus Crew to win

Inter Miami vs Columbus Crew verdict

Inter Miami will have been pleased with their efforts in the 1-1 draw against Austin FC as they halted their seven-game losing streak.
Gerardo Martino watched from the stands as soon-to-be assistant Javier Morales took the reigns. Tata witnessed a press and counter he can work with.
The hosts created the greater danger and ended with 2.3 expected goals over 90 minutes. They missed clear-cut chances to win the game.
They were exposed time and time again on the break and the visitors found themselves in numerous good positions, but they didn't fashion the chances.
It was a step forward for Miami and they deserve as much credit as Austin does criticism, but Wednesday's game is expected to be more challenging.
Columbus is on a six-game unbeaten run, scoring 14 goals. They've recorded back-to-back wins over Nashville and New York Red Bulls.
Although they're in form, four of those six games were at home. The Crew have been potent on their travels but still lost five times.
There's a noticeable difference in class between the sides to beat them and Inter, but the visitor's defensive record means they'll get chances.
They'll want to attack Miami but we saw in the weekend fixture that Josef Martinez and Benjamin Cremeschi looked like creating danger every time they break.
Despite improvement, Morales' side is without so many key players, a second game in four days could prove tough. Back Columbus and goals.
