League One acca tips: Peterborough to give Reading a hostile welcome in weekend treble

Jack Taylor and Jonson Clarke-Harris

We've picked out the three best bets from a League One accumulator on the opening day of the season, featuring Peterborough United's trip to troubled Reading.

Planet Sport has put together a tasty three team League One acca for Saturday, August 5 that pays out around 8/1 at the time of writing.

League One betting tips

Bet: Lincoln City to win or draw

Bet: Wycombe Wanderers to win

Bet: Peterborough United to win

Bolton Wanderers vs Lincoln City

Bolton fans will have high hopes for the League One season and if their upward trend continues, automatic promotion could be on the cards.
However, lots of top teams start slow and you never know what you'll get on opening day, but we do know Lincoln should be tough to beat.
City will embrace the role of underdog. The Imps began last season with a 0-0 draw at Portsmouth and lost just three of their last 11 away games last season.
It's worth noting the visitors are unbeaten on opening day in the previous 10 seasons, whilst Wanderers have won just two of their last 10.

Wycombe Wanderers vs Exeter City

Wycombe hasn't properly settled since losing Gareth Ainsworth, but Matt Bloomfield has had a full pre-season with the team he took charge of in February.
However, the Chairboys have a kind fixture to begin as they host an Exeter side that will take time to gel and could struggle in the early stages.
They've recruited well in defence with the arrivals of Richard Keogh, Kane Vincent-Young and Luke Leahy, who can play midfield, while retaining their attacking players.
Exeter City are a significantly weaker group than this time last year and they've largely filled the gaps with players from lower levels and with Premier League youngsters on loan.

Reading vs Peterborough

It's all doom and gloom at Reading with the latest transfer embargo to be placed on them meaning they can only sign free agents on one-year contracts.
They've lost bags of attacking quality and this looks like a very tough job for Ruben Selles to turn it around. Their first priority will be stabilising and avoiding a relegation scrap.
Peterborough have lost a lot of quality too, but they rarely have trouble replacing it and they've retained their core, including top scorer Jonson Clarke-Harris.
Royals fans are pessimistic after a dire pre-season and will be venting their frustrations at owner Dai Yongge. Their threadbare squad must be distracted and Posh should capitalise.
