Bayern Munich vs Augsburg tips: Harry Kane brace to fire Bavarians to victory

Football tipster Sergiu Baltuta has previewed Bayern Munich's home game against Augsburg with the German champions chasing a first home win in three matches.
Bayern Munich, the German champions, had a horrible start to the 2023/2024 season. They lost 3-0 at home to RB Leipzig in the Supercup, their second consecutive home loss.
In fairness, Leipzig were the last team to beat Bayern Munich at home, winning 3-1 at the end of the previous season.
Bayern recovered well from that loss, in the inaugural round of the Bundesliga, with a 4-0 win at Werder Bremen.
The home team put on a show for the fans on Sunday, drawing 4-4 with Borussia Monchengladbach in a thrilling first-round match.
The last two times these two teams met, Bayern won 5-2 away and 5-3 at home. Augsburg's last win against Bayern was in May 2015, when they won 1-0 away from home.
Harry Kane made a stunning Bundesliga debut for Bayern Munich, scoring and assisting in a 3-0 win over Werder Bremen.
The England captain became the first Bayern player since Leroy Sane in 2020 to have a direct hand in two goals on his league debut.

Thomas Tuchel's Bayern Munich has won five and lost three of their last eight official games.
Their last draw was on April 19th, when they tied 1-1 with Manchester City in the Champions League at home. Bayern have now scored at least three goals in six consecutive games.
Augsburg, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, lost their opening game of the new season 2-0 to Unterhaching in the cup.
What followed was an incredible 4-4 at home in the Bundesliga against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Despite being down 0-2 and 1-3, Enrico Maassen's team fought back to take a 4-3 lead, but they conceded an equalizer in the seventh minute of added time from a penalty.
Augsburg has not won a game in five consecutive matches. To add to that, they have not won an away game since October 2, 2022, when they defeated Schalke 3-2.
