Ajax vs Brighton tips and predictions: Dutch resistance out to rescue faltering European campaign

Ajax player Chuba Akpom
Planet Sport Bet ambassador Robbie Savage expects a tight game as Brighton head to Amsterdam for a Europa League clash with Ajax.
Brighton winning 2-0 in the first game, I went 2-1. Since that game Ajax have picked up a little, currently 11th in the Dutch table and beat Heerenveen 4-1.
Brighton are not in such great form, but I think they'll go there and get a point in this one.
I'm going for both teams to score in a 1-1 draw.
Robbie’s Tip: Ajax 1-1 Brighton
Team news
Ajax may have turned a corner in terms of results, but they will have to contend with a few injury worries.
Jay Gorter won’t feature on Thursday, while there are doubts over Sivert Mannsverk, Geronimo Rulli and Amourricho van Axel Dongen.
Brighton are also down on numbers. Julio Enciso and Solomon March are both nursing knee injuries, while Danny Welbeck has a muscle problem.
Pervis Estupinan is also a doubt for Thursday’s match.

Planet Sport’s other bets to consider
Just like the Undertaker at Royal Rumble 1994, Ajax have risen from the dead. The Dutch giants ended their 10-match winless run and have now picked up back-to-back victories over FC Volendam and Heerenveen.
Making it three from three will be a challenge considering their opponents this Thursday night are Brighton.
The Seagulls have lost just one of their last six outings, with that sole defeat coming against defending Premier League champions Manchester City.
The last meeting between Ajax and Brighton ended with a 2-0 win for the English side, though replicating that in Amsterdam will be tricky.
With Ajax on the up, we’re backing the Dutch side to come away with at least a point.
Brighton are also no strangers to draws having tied four of their last six outings.
