West Brom midfielder Jayson Molumby could follow Carlos Corberan to Leeds

Jayson Molumby of West Brom, March 2023

West Brom and Ireland midfielder Jayson Molumby is a transfer target for Leeds United, according to reports.

According to reports, Jayson Molumby, 23, is being linked with a move to Leeds United.
With a mass Elland Road exodus around the corner, Leeds will be particularly short in the middle of the park.
The Ireland international boasts a wealth of Championship experience having made 127 appearances for Preston, Millwall and West Brom.
After a successful loan spell at the Hawthorns, he signed a three-year contract in May 2022, so a decent fee will be required.
However, it's also reported that Albion will need to sell players to balance the books, and he could be a valuable asset.
Molumby has been starting as a central defensive midfielder in a 4-2-3-1 but prefers getting forward and often features in an attacking capacity.
He's become increasingly efficient at progressing the ball forward and suits a high-pressing, high-tempo team, which Leeds hope to become.

Numerous other reports claim that Carlos Corberan is on Leeds United's managerial shortlist and has held informal discussions.

The Spanish coach was rumoured to have been approached by Leeds earlier in this season but signed an improved contract with West Brom shortly after.

He's on a list of managers who Leeds are expected to formally interview this week, alongside Daniel Farke and Scott Parker.
Corberan was previously assistant to Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds and his arrival would strengthen the links to Molumby.
