Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel conceded arguably one of the worst goals in the history of Der Klassiker
BVB entered Saturday's clash with Bayern Munich as Bundesliga leaders following a solid run of results.
Edin Terzic and his men knew that victory in Munich would put them four-points clear of their rivals ahead of the final eight games.
Dortmund haven't won the Bundesliga since 2012 and their best chance of ending that dry spell awaited them at the Allianz Arena.
The visitors couldn't afford to make a single mistake, yet just 13 minutes into the contest, goalkeeper Gregor Kobel produced one of the biggest howlers in the history of the legendary German fixture.
At first, the situation seemed relatively normal as Bayern centre-back Dayot Upamecano punted a long ball forward from inside of his own half.

The ball travelled all the way to the Dortmund shot stopper who attempted to clear his lines.
Unfortunately for the Switzerland international, he completely misjudged his angles and missed the ball.
The 25-year-old was left distraught as the ball found its way into the back of the net to hand Bayern Munich an extraordinary lead.
