Transfer Zone: Liverpool on standby for Bellingham, Christian Eriksen breaks silence

Jude Bellingham, England

Could Frenkie de Jong be joining Pep Guardiola? Aurelien Tchouameni reveals why he joined Real Madrid and Christian Eriksen opens up on his future.

One of the best things about 2021/22 in the Premier League was the return of Christian Eriksen.

The midfielder suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch playing for Denmark at Euro 2020 and there were fears for his life let alone playing football again.
Eriksen had an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) fitted and confirmed he would play football again following his release from Inter Milan.
He was picked up by Brentford in January and he was one of their standout players as the Bees avoided relegation.
He is now out of contract and has provided an update on his next move.

Manchester United are desperate to sign Frenkie de Jong and while they are in pole position to land the Dutchman, reports suggest they may face some competition - and it's only their rivals and current Premier League champions.

Aurelien Tchouameni had Europe's biggest clubs after him but despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, he chose Real Madrid.

About the move to Los Blancos, he said: "I had the chance to choose other clubs, yes - but as soon as I knew Real Madrid wanted me, I never doubted."

Here is the first footage of the Frenchman in a Madrid shirt.

Jude Bellingham is one of the best prospects in world football and it is no secret that he has admirers from teams all across Europe.

Real Madrid are interested but it's Liverpool who are favourites for his signature although they may have to wait if they want their man.
Paul Pogba is set for a second spell at Juventus.
The France international will sign a four-year deal and it will be announced officially next month.
Safe to say Pogba has gone the full circle.
