The latest transfer developments on social media, including a less than glowing character reference for Jesse Lingard and a signing that’s all down to Stuart.

Nottingham Forest look set to shell out £200,000 a week to land Jesse Lingard, according to reports. Chris Fletcher for one is not impressed.

Fulham are poised to sign Swiss defender and shadowgraphy expert Kevin Mbabu. I'm thinking it's a dove.

Bishop is an example of how a player sometimes needs to step down a level or two to reinvigorate his career. Released by Notts County and then Worcester, he eventually ended up at Leamington.

Leamington manager Paul Holleran said of Bishop: "I think he's got a big future in the game." He's not a bad judge.
