PSG ‘furious’ with Chelsea as Hakim Ziyech deadline day loan falls due to documents gaffe
Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be ‘furious’ with Chelsea after a document debacle prevented Hakim Ziyech from completing his loan move.
The Ligue 1 club have accused Chelsea of sending through incorrect documents after terms of the loan move had been agreed.
The gaffe led to the eventual collapse of proposed loan deal for Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech.
PSG had lodged an appeal to the Professional Football League (LFP), stating that the Premier League outfit delivered incorrect paperwork.
When the issue was flagged, Chelsea did come up with the correct documents albeit without a signature. When the correct version was ultimately received, the transfer deadline had already passed.
The LFP held a meeting on Wednesday morning to discuss the situation, though according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, PSG's appeal has since been rejected.
🚨 It’s over. Hakim Ziyech will NOT join Paris Saint-Germain, deal collapsed — no chance after the appeal has been rejected by LFP.

The Italian journalist reports that the French champions are 'frustrated' by the debacle.
Ziyech had already passed his medical and was waiting to be unveiled in Paris on Tuesday night.
Chelsea are yet to publish their version of events.
