When is the Premier League back? Full fixtures from Boxing Day to New Year’s Day and where to watch

Premier League big six

With the curtain officially down on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the attention now turns to the return of Premier League football.

Arsenal remained top of the table before the World Cup break thanks to a run of three straight victories over Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Wolves.

Mikel Arteta's men are vying for their first league crown since the 2003/04 season and they're currently five points ahead of Manchester City.
Speaking of the Cityzens, Pep Guardiola's men dropped points in the last round of Premier League fixtures following a shock 2-1 home loss to Brentford.
At the foot of the table, it's Wolves who will be looking to mount a strong end to the year under new manager Julen Lopetegui.
His side are currently four points away from safety, with Southampton and Nottingham Forest sitting above them in the relegation zone.
Premier League action will officially return on Boxing Day with Brentford hosting Tottenham at 12.30 GMT.
