The pressure will be piled on PSG and Man City on Wednesday evening, with the loser left outside the top 24 and in the table and in danger of crashing out of the Champions League.

Tuesday night's action produced a 7/1 winner as Mo Salah and Jonathan David scored in Liverpool's win over Lille, so we'll be hoping for more of the same this evening.

We’ve put our favourite bets for the star-studded affair into a bet builder which is priced at 7/1.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Man City to win or draw

Have Man City turned a corner after beating Ipswich Town 6-0 to extend their unbeaten run to six matches?

It’s too soon to say they’re back to their brilliant best just because they beat a promoted team heavily and walloped poor Salford 8-0. However, there was a ruthless edge about them at the weekend.

On the other hand, they threw away a 2-0 lead when visiting Brentford four days prior, and they failed to beat strugglers Everton at the Etihad at the top of this unbeaten run.

PSG are on quite the unbeaten run themselves, winning their last eight matches and without a loss in 10.

It’s also worth noting their Champions League record at Parc Des Princes is immense, as only Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have won there in 43 matches.

The loser of this contest will be outside the top 24 with a game to spare, so it’ll be interesting to see if Pep Guardiola’s side are still fragile under pressure, but it’s unimaginable that such a good team could finish in the bottom eight of the table.

    Over 2.5 goals scored

Although City are unbeaten in six matches, and Paris Saint Germain in 10, there are still a lot of questions to answer given their UCL form.

PSG’s wins came against strugglers Girona and Salzburg, while you have to go back to October to find City’s last win after three setbacks on the bounce.

Since beating Slovan Bratislava 4-0 and Sparta Prague 5-0, the English champions were beaten 4-1 by Sporting Lisbon and 2-0 by Juventus. They also squandered a 3-0 lead to draw with Feyenoord.

PSG’s games have been far less eventful, but each of their four most recent meetings with City produced at least two goals, and the desperation of this scenario should tip the total over the edge.

Phil Foden to score or assist

There will be no shortage of dazzling attack talent on display in Paris on Wednesday, but few stars have shined as brightly as Phil Foden recently.

The fleet-footed midfielder was at the double twice last week, scoring a brace against the Bees before following that up with two more and an assist against the Tractor Boys.

He’s contributed to nine goals in his last eight appearances and on an evening when City need some inspiration, he should be the one to offer it.

    Bradley Barcola 2+ shots

The hosts may not boast the star power of seasons past, but it’s fair to say that Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos make for a pretty dangerous front three.

With Rico Lewis potentially lining up at right back against Barcola, we think that’s a potential mismatch which may lead to the French youngster getting some sights of goal.

He’s averaging 2.7 shots per match this season so we’ll back him to have at least two cracks at goals on Wednesday.
