Norwich City set to sign young MLS talent, Teemu Pukki going the other way
Norwich City are close to finalising a deal to sign a highly-rated MLS youngster with Teemu Pukki heading to the States, according to reports.
Norwich City are set to sign talented young MLS goalkeeper Vicente Reyes from Atlanta United, according to reports.
Reyes is yet to feature for Atlanta's first team with Brad Guzan in control of the gloves but the youngster has regularly featured for the second time.
Having impressed upon making his senior debut at the age of 16, those associated with Atlanta United anticipated him becoming the clubs number one.
In addition, he's tipped to be Chile's number one goalkeeper in the near future.
However, reports have emerged that insuate Reyes, his father and his agent met with club representatives over the weekend.
The 20-year-old shotstopper has just six months left on his contract and having yet to sign a new contract, could leave for free at the end of the season.
Reyes will link up with fellow Chilean Marcelino Nunez who this week scored two goals and assisted for the national team.
As previously reported by Planet Sport, Teemu Pukki is still open to joining MLS side Minnesota United once his current contract expires in July.
