Georginio Rutter could be set for Leeds United stay in the Championship

Leeds United’s social media has sparked the suggestion that Georginio Rutter is committed to the club for the 2023/24 season.
Leeds United have yet to formally confirm their takeover by 49ers Enterprises or the appointment of Daniel Farke as manager, but they're coming.
Despite that, the first crop of players were at Leeds Beckett University on Monday to undergo the usual fitness tests.
The Whites' social media team drip-fed fans some content throughout the day, including photos of Darko Gyabi and Archie Gray.
The ex-Man City midfielder is expected to play a key role in the Championship while the relation of the legendary Eddie Gray could have a breakthrough season.
Fans were treated to some more familiar faces in the form of reliable club servants Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper.
However, the club also posted an extended video of Georginio Rutter looking particularly chirpy as he underwent tests.
His appearance and beaming smile have posed the question on social media: Does this confirm that Georginio Rutter is staying?
Leeds have been particularly careful with whom they've pushed into the limelight, choosing to show off Sonny Perkins as their training kit poster boy earlier this week.
Rutter signed from Hoffenheim for a mammoth fee in the winter and failed to make a big impact in a broken team.
While loan moves are all the rage at Elland Road these days, it's unlikely anyone has the funds to make a move for him.
The French forward featured 11 times in League and Cup and although he didn't score, he did register one assist and show glimpses of brilliance.
Leeds fans recognised his ability to dazzle and made him a cult hero, often serenading him at half-time with chants of 'Georginio'.
Looking at his profile, there seems little doubt that Rutter could well be a top scorer in the Championship IF he stays.
