Europa Conference League draw: Jose Mourinho returns to Norway, Leicester face treble-chasing PSV

Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma will face Norway’s Bodo/Glimt in the Europa Conference League quarter-final - the same side which thrashed them 6-1 during the group stage.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager will have an opportunity to set the record straight as his side travel away to Norway for the opening leg.

AS Roma booked their place in the quarter-final thanks to a 2-1 aggregate victory over Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

Bodo/Glimt, on the other hand, are in the midst of their best ever run in Europe. Before this season, their best campaign in an international competition saw them reach the second round of the European Cup Winners' Cup back in 1978/79.

Nevertheless, the team led by Norwegian manager Kjetil Knutsen didn't lose a single game during the Europa Conference League group stage. His side then went on to thrash Celtic 5-1 in their first knockout game.

That victory was followed by a 4-3 aggregate triumph over AZ in the round-of-16.

The winner of this tie will take on Leicester City or PSV Eindhoven in the Europa Conference League semi-final.

The Foxes are through to their first European quarter-final since their Champions League run in 2016/17.

Brendan Rodgers and his side got the better of French side Rennes to set up their date against PSV.

Speaking of the former Champions League winners, Roger Schmidt's side are still on course for a treble winning season.
The Eindhoven outfit have closed the gap in the Eredivisie title race to just two points as they continue to chase Ajax. What's more, they also have a KNVB Cup final to look forward to in April.
Elsewhere, Feyenoord Rotterdam will battle Slavia Prague for a place in the semi-final.
The winner of that game will take on Marseille or PAOK.
