Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi linked with Juventus and Chelsea move
Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi has sparked speculation about his future after the pre-season friendly against FC Erzgebirge Aue.
The 22-year-old, who has been a key player for Dortmund since joining in 2022, addressed questions regarding his potential move amid interest from major clubs like Juventus and Chelsea.
In an interview with Ruhrn24 following the 1-1 draw, Adeyemi remained non-committal about his future. "I can't say anything about that," he stated. "I wear a Dortmund jersey and I'm very happy to wear a Dortmund jersey. There are no guarantees in life."
The uncertainty surrounding Adeyemi's future has been a topic of considerable discussion, particularly with Juventus and Chelsea reportedly keen on securing his services.
Despite these rumours, Dortmund's head coach Nuri Sahin has remained focused on his objectives for the player. "Karim knows how I feel about him," Sahin remarked.
"I'm not going to start commenting on every rumour here. I don't play that game. What's important to me is what I want from Karim and what Karim has told me."
Adeyemi's current contract with Dortmund runs until 2025, and his performances since joining the Black and Yellows have been promising.
His ability to create chances and score goals has made him a valuable asset for the club, who are understandably eager to retain him.
As the transfer window progresses, Adeyemi's comments suggest that while he is content at Dortmund, he is also open to exploring opportunities elsewhere.
With major European clubs interested, it remains to be seen whether Dortmund can convince him to stay or if a move will materialise before the end of the transfer window.
