Bundesliga: Eintracht Frankfurt sign Hungarian wonderkid Krisztian Lisztes

Eintracht Frankfurt have officially signed promising teenage attacking midfielder Krisztian Lisztes from Budapest club Ferencvaros.

Lisztes, who is still just 18 years old, is set to join Die Adler for the 2024/25 season under a five-year contract extending until 2029.

He will remain with the Budapest club for the remainder of the current campaign. Ferencvaros, like his future team, will be participating in the Europa Conference League, having been drawn in a group alongside Fiorentina, Genk, and the Serbian club Cukaricki as the reigning Hungarian league champions.

Despite his youth, Lisztes, who won't reach the age of 19 until next May, is versatile and can operate in the center as a number ten or on either flank.

He has already demonstrated his potential by scoring two goals in three league games for Fradi this season, contributing to a total of seven goals and two assists in just 767 minutes of senior football across 21 appearances for the Hungarian side.

Frankfurt's sporting director, Timmo Hardung, has expressed his anticipation of witnessing the teenager's "intensity, dynamism, and direct and indirect goal-scoring threat" in a Frankfurt jersey in the upcoming year.
