UFC 310: Free bets, odds, main card parlay, start time and where to watch
Kai Asakura will become the 24th fighter in UFC history to make his company debut in a championship bout when he battles Alexandre Pantoja in the final PPV of the year.
The RIZIN FF star will look to make history when he challenges for the UFC Flyweight championship.
Here, we take a look at all five fights on the main card and pick a winner in each as we build a tasty parlay.
UFC Flyweight Championship: Alexandre Pantoja vs Kai Asakura
The bookmakers are siding with Pantoja in this one, pricing the defending champion at around the 2/5 mark.
Since 2021, the American Top Team fighter has been on a six-fight winning streak, defeating Manel Kape, Brandon Royval (twice), Alex Perez, Brandon Moreno and Steve Erceg.
Asakura, meanwhile, was last in action 12 months ago when he defeated Juan Archuleta to claim the vacant Rizin bantamweight title. Six months later, the Japan Top Team fighter put pen to paper on a deal with the UFC.
The 31-year-old boasts a mean highlight reel, but we all know that stepping up to the UFC is a whole different ball game.
Asakura has the size advantage, is incredibly explosive and is also battle-tested. Despite being the underdog, we’re backing Asakura to become the UFC’s next big superstar – starting with a title win over Pantoja.
Welterweight bout: Shavkat Rakhmonov vs Ian Machado Garry
Both men deserve a lot of credit. Ian Garry showed a lot of guts by choosing to accept the fight on late notice while Shavkat was willing to go from a title fight to a number one contender bout.
Between them, the two men boast a 33-0 record in professional MMA, making this one of the much-anticipated fights on the card.
Nobody has survived three rounds with Rakhmonov with the Kazakh winning all his fights by stoppage.
Garry is a well-rounded fighter but his task of surviving five rounds with Rakhmonov certainly looks a daunting one. Especially when coming into this one on late notice.
We’re backing the Nomad to get the victory.
Heavyweight bout: Ciryl Gane vs Alexander Volkov
Ciryl Gane will be looking to pick up his second victory over Alexander Volkov when the two men rematch their 2021 bout.
Gane powered to a unanimous decision win three-and-a-half years ago and has since been involved in blockbuster encounters with Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones – both ending in defeats.
Volkov is an expert when it comes to adjusting his game plan and has been on a five-fight winning run since his loss to Tom Aspinall in March 2022.
This is a tasty encounter but we’re putting our chips on Gane who tends to land more strikes and get hit less.
Featherweight bout: Bryce Mitchell vs Kron Gracie
Bryce Mitchell has said some wild things in the lead-up to this fight – including a crazy theory regarding seat belts.
All fun and jokes aside, Saturday night is a big one for Mitchell who looks to reaffirm his position as a top-level featherweight.
The American has lost two of his last three fights against Ilia Topuria and Josh Emmett and could do with a big performance to build up his stock.
Gracie is six years his senior and enters this fight looking to avoid a third straight defeat. The Brazilian has been out of action since his loss to Charles Jourdain back in May 2023.
Bearing all that in mind, we’re backing Mitchell to get the W.
Featherweight bout: Nate Landwehr vs Choi Doo-ho
Choi Doo-ho has an opportunity to make a big statement when he takes on Nate Landwehr.
The Korean Superboy ended his four-right winless run with a victory over Bill Algeo back in July of this year.
Landwehr, meanwhile, has been out of action since his victorious performance of the night display against Jamall Emmers in March.
This is an interesting clash to open up the main card, but we’re backing the 36-year-old American to come up trumps.
