Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing) - Fury to win
Hearn told iFL TV: "If Fury wins – and I'm actually leaning towards him, I've had a little bit of a [switch].
"Fury could fight AJ [Anthony Joshua] for the unified world heavyweight title. The biggest fight ever in the sport. Wembley, Riyadh, wherever."
Lennox Lewis (Former undisputed champion) – Usyk
As quoted by The Sun: "It’s going to be a tough fight for both guys. It’s going to be mentally tough, it’s going to be physically tough.
“Well, I cannot go against Usyk. Oleksandr Usyk has proven himself time and time again, and he’s still undefeated.
"It really comes down to who boxes the best. Who’s smart in the ring. I didn’t think Tyson Fury was smart in the first fight.
"I think he played around a little bit too much and allowed Oleksandr Usyk to really pile up the points.
“Oleksandr Usyk is a difficult opponent. He moves all the time, he’s always throwing punches, he’s in great shape, and that’s hard to beat.”
Mike Tyson (Former world champion) – Fury
"Usyk is the best heavyweight in the world at the moment. But I’m going for Fury to beat him," he told The Sun.
"Why? Because I’m a fan. Because his father gave him my name. I’m not abandoning him now."
George Groves (Former world champion) – Usyk
“Based on the first fight, the wear and tear and mileage on both fighters, and where they are in their careers, Usyk is still the fresher fighter," he told DAZN:
“Usyk nearly stopped him in the first fight. He’s not the type to think, ‘I almost had him last time; one big shot will finish it.’
“He knows it’s going to be a tough fight, as it always is for him. Usyk leaves no stone unturned, and I think it’s a clearer win for Usyk this time.”
Roy Jones Jr (Former four-weight world champion) – Fury
“Well it’s a very tough predicament for both of them. You never really can tell how things are going to shape out. But to me, Fury is one of the best guys at coming back and making adjustments," he told DAZN.
Anthony Joshua (Former world champion) – Usyk
As quoted by The Sun: "I think it’s going to be a tough fight early on and then I feel like Usyk will edge it again.
"He’s a class operator and I feel like Usyk’s one of the best out there. That’s why I think he’ll win.”
Amir Khan (Former world champion) – Fury
“Good fight. I think this time Fury knows what mistakes he made in the first fight," he told The Independent:
“He knows that he can’t stand in front of a strong Usyk, Usyk still has a lot of power, and he’s felt Usyk’s power this time, knowing that Usyk has come up a weight and still holds that power.
“So, I think Fury is going to be one step ahead. Whenever Fury comes back in a rematch, he is always much better so he could probably stop Usyk toward the later rounds.”
Johnny Fisher (Heavyweight contender) – Fury
As quoted by DAZN: "I'm backing Great Britain as always. Tyson Fury has done a lot for me, a small amount for him, but a massive amount for me and my career when I was able to spar him.
"Regardless of that, I think the natural attributes he's got and if he invests to the body a lot more in this fight, because he was really hurting Usyk when he did, he can get a stoppage in rounds six to eight."
Simon Jordan (Media personality) – Fury
"The biggest thing for me with Tyson Fury is not what weight he comes in at," Jordan told talkSPORT.
"It's about what state he comes in mentally because we've never seen Tyson Fury lose a fight. I don't think he drew the fight with Deontay Wilder, I think he won that fight, too, but we've never seen him have to come back from that kind of adversity.
"That to me is the most telling thing about this fight. If Fury is in the zone, I think Fury wins this fight."
Fabio Wardley (Heavyweight contender) – Usyk
As quoted by The Independent: “A lot of people I’ve spoken to within the industry are edging towards Usyk [Those predictions are] more so mentality-based. I [also] think he’s more focused on the task at hand, focused on the job, and is dedicated.”
Andy Lee (Boxing coach and former world champion) – Fury
“Fights are won and lost in the ring but also in training camps," told Boxing News Online:
“When you’re preparing for the biggest fight of your career against your best opponent, and you’ve been cut in the previous camp and can’t spar properly, how are you going to perform to your maximum?
“I’d say we didn’t see the full Tyson Fury in the first fight. The fight was close, but you can’t take that round nine highlight as the full story.
“There were close rounds where Tyson was boxing well and going to the body, but he can be a lot better in this rematch.”
Agit Kabayel (Heavyweight contender) – Fury
“Fury’s mentality is better [than last time], he’s focused, he will win the fight. He has long arms, he is tall, and he is intelligent – he has everything.
“He works with the brain. This fight’s very close. He is really good at boxing, Oleksandr Usyk, but in my heart, I think Fury wins the fight on points. I hate predictions, but I will say this," told The Independent:
Joseph Parker (WBO interim champion) – Fury
"I think Tyson’s mindset has changed coming into this fight," told The Sun.
"I feel that if you have a different mindset, that can bring a lot of changes. I believe Tyson can beat Usyk on a points decision, but it’s a tough one. I’m siding with Tyson, but I think it’s a points decision."
Tony Bellew (Former world champion) – Usyk
"I can’t look past Usyk. He outboxes him this time and probably ends up winning on points," he told The Sun.
“The first fight surprised me a little bit as Usyk went on the front foot from the first bell and he was actually fighting like he was the bigger man. I think that might've shocked Fury a little bit.
“Now Usyk knows he can hurt Fury and also be fine up close, he’ll be more confident here, but I still think he’ll go on the outside and box him on the backfoot.
“Fury has no choice but to be more aggressive this time around, but those tactics can play into Usyk’s hands, and I think he’ll go 2-0 against Fury and do it unanimously this time.”
Anthony Crolla (Former world champion) – Usyk
"Tyson has got to be a lot more respectful of the power Usyk looks to be developing as a heavyweight. You have to make Oleksandr Usyk the favourite for the moments that happened in the first fight," told The Sun.
“I’m glad the referee kept the fight going after round nine, but Tyson was very fortunate not to have been stopped because a lot of people would’ve been stopped.
Derek Chisora (Heavyweight legend) – Usyk
As quoted by The Independent: "[Usyk] Is still the same, bro. It’s gonna be a good fight, we’re gonna see a little bit of difference, but you have to understand: Tyson will come a little bit different, but Usyk will come a little bit different [as well].
"But as the scales hit right now, my money’s still edging on Usyk.”
Carl Frampton (Former two-weight world champion) – Fury
As quoted by The Independent: "I fancy Fury. My mind hasn’t really swayed from start to finish, which is strange in a fight of this magnitude; I’ve been saying Fury from the start.
"I think Fury is in the zone now, he’s serious, he’s ready to fight. Both guys seem to be very, very confident. Both, I think, know it’s going to be a difficult fight.”
Daniel Dubois (IBF heavyweight champion) – Fury
"I'm still backing Fury. I hope our man does it. Usyk is capable. Fury should jump on him and smother him," told The Sun.
"Fury is a slick boxer too, but it will be a great fight and I'll be out there calling on to fight the winner."
Jai Opetaia (Cruiserweight champion and Fury’s sparring partner) – Fury
“I feel like, in this fight, we’re going to see a version of Fury that we haven’t seen for a long time: a hungry Fury, [who knows he] can be beaten if he doesn’t perform well," told The Independent.
“So, I feel like he’s going to be preparing the best he’s prepared in a long time, to win this fight. He knew his boxing IQ was better than a lot of those fighters that he’s been fighting; he relied on that. This one, he can’t rely on that natural ability. He needs to put in the hard work as well, and I feel like we’re going to see that.”
Joe Cordina (Two-time world champion) – Fury
As quoted by The Independent: “Fury, [rounds eight to 12], stoppage. He’ll struggle with the footwork of Usyk for the first half, and then he’ll just think: ‘I’ve got to get on it now.’ And the weight, the size will all come into play.”
Lauren Price (WBA and IBO world champion) – Usyk
“Fury obviously is massive and a great champion,” she said, “but I can’t go against Usyk. He’s phenomenal – his ring IQ, everything really... Usyk by decision," told The Independent:
Seb Sternik (Planet Sport) – Fury
We are heading into the 13th round of this epic rivalry yet we’re still so far from finding out who really is the best heavyweight in the world.
Yes, Usyk won the first fight. Yes, he nearly got the stoppage. But let’s not forget that in the eyes of the judges, it was only a split decision. Let’s also not forget that Fury’s camp faced a serious problem with the cut over his eye during sparring – something that only hampered his preparation.
As we have seen in his Wilder trilogy, the more Fury knows about his opponent, the better he gets. Fury had some good rounds in his first fight with Usyk, so good in fact that he appeared to lose concentration and began to play games.
There will be no games in this rematch. As the two fighters arrived in Riyadh, Fury looked like a man on a mission. We’re backing him to get the job done, even the score and set up a historic trilogy.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2 undercard tips
One of the most interesting fights on the undercard is the heavyweight contest between Johnny Fisher and Dave Allen.
Fisher is making big waves through the division, not only with a string of impressive performances but also with his incredible ticket sales and growing following.
The 25-year-old has won all 12 of his professional fights – including his two outings in 2024. Incredibly, Fisher has boxed for a combined time of three minutes and 27 seconds this year, knocking out Dmytro Bezus and Alen Babic both in the first round.
Dave Allen is an experienced campaigner and previously beat Fisher up in sparring many moons ago. However, Fisher has come a long way since then and comes into this one as heavy favourite.
We’re backing the Romford Bull to get the job done between rounds four and six at the current price of 2/1.
Another eye-catching heavyweight affair sees Moses Itauma take on Demsey McKean.
The 19-year-old boasts a perfect 10-0 record but faces his biggest professional test in the form of McKean.
The Australian has won 22 of his 23 professional fights, losing his last outing to Filip Hrgovic back in August 2023.
A year and a half is a long time to be out of the ring. Itauma, on the other hand, has kept busy and looks like the real deal. We’re backing him to get the job done between the rounds of four and six.
Another Brit that will be looking to put on a show is Ishmael Davis. The boxer suffered a majority decision defeat to Josh Kelly last time out – not bad going considering he replaced the injured Liam Smith just days before the fight.
Davis had a full camp for his upcoming showdown with Serhii Bohachuk but there’s no denying this will be his toughest test yet.
The Ukrainian is a serious operator who has won 24 of his 26 professional fights. His last outing ended in a majority decision defeat to Vergil Ortiz Jr – a result which cost him the WBC interim championship.
Bohachuk was won 23 of his fights by knockout while Davis stopped six of his 13 opponents. We’re backing this fight to last less than eight rounds.
Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2 undercard tips
Fisher to beat Allen between rounds 4-6 – 2/1
Itauma to beat McKean between rounds 4-6 – 2/1
Bohachuk vs Davis less than eight rounds completed – 10/11
