New Zealand Masters: Free darts betting tips, predictions, odds, how to watch and schedule
The 2024 World Series of Darts heads to Hamilton, New Zealand as Gerwyn Price looks for back-to-back victories.
Another stellar global darts series is coming to an end as the Globox Arena hosts the final event before the Finals in September.
Price has certainly excelled during this year’s series, reaching three finals in the last four events and winning two of them.
The Iceman’s last victory came in Wollongong, Australia where he powered to the final before thrashing wonderkid Luke Littler 8-1.
The Welshman will now be looking for back-to-back tournament wins and if he can keep up his level of performance, Price will take some stopping.
Rob Cross, who is the defending champion, will be hoping to put in an improved performance after struggling in recent events.
The former world champion has reached three World Series of Darts finals this year, but Voltage has not been able to find that form over the last few weeks.
Looking at potential challengers to Price, you can’t look past Littler. Yes, the teenager may have been thumped in Wollongong, but we expect him to come back swinging in New Zealand.
The likes of Luke Humphries and Michael Smith will also be looking to live up to their heavyweight status in what promises to be an exciting event.
If you’re looking for local contenders, New Zealand’s best hope is with Haupai Puha.
The PDC Tour Card holder is not a superstar in the darting world, but that doesn’t mean he can’t upset a name or two on home turf.
If you are looking for a solid tip, Price is the man to back considering his solid form in recent events.
Littler is a good alternative as the teen hopes to continue his run of winning a tournament every month this year.
Suggested bets
NAP - Gerwyn Price to win
NB – Luke Littler to win
