Valtteri Bottas was full of praise for the 2023 Alfa Romeo after the team revealed its new design

Alfa Romeo were the first Formula 1 team to reveal their new design for the 2023 season and driver Valtteri Bottas was very impressed.
It is the Fin's second season with Alfa after moving from Mercedes at the start of the 2022 campaign and while he liked the first car he got, he thinks they have made a big leap forward this year.
apart from the looks, which he described as stunning, Bottas is also confident it will be fast.
"The C43 is finally here and I cannot wait to bring it on track," he said, according to Racing News 365.
"I really like our new livery, I think it is stunning and a fine evolution from last year's one.
"It's been an interesting first season with the team, we made some pretty solid progress together and now there's only one direction to [go]: up, higher and better.
"There is obviously still work to do and things to improve, but I am confident we have it in ourselves to aim for even [better] results this year.
"I cannot wait to go back racing, I am fully charged and eager to get the new season started.
"I feel like this car is, at least from the numbers in the simulator, a bit more of an all-rounder, versus just quick on the slow speed tracks.
"One big limitation last year was high speed, just pure high-speed load and balance. And in theory, that should be way better. So let's see."
