Logan Sargeant, the American Formula 1 driver for Williams, is excited to compete in his first home race in the United States at this weekend's 2023 Miami Grand Prix.

Logan Sargeant, the American Williams driver, is preparing for his first Formula 1 race on home turf, which will take place at the 2023 Miami Grand Prix this weekend.
Sargeant, who began his racing career at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, has stated that racing at the Miami International Autodrome will be a challenging experience, despite the excitement of competing in front of his fans and family.
While he is thrilled to be back in his familiar hot and humid climate, Sargeant recognises the difficulty of the Miami International Autodrome, a new track for the F1 calendar. He told media: "It's a big hurdle to climb but yeah I'm excited." Sargeant's racing roots are just a few miles away from the stadium where the Miami Grand Prix will be held.
Sargeant's enthusiasm for the event extends beyond his passion for racing. He also looks forward to the atmosphere created by thousands of home fans, as well as the chance to participate in his first car race in the United States. Sargeant stated, "Just to see the American fans, our friends and family here - the atmosphere is always good in America. The American fans put out, so I'm excited to have that home atmosphere for the first time and really just enjoy every part of the weekend."
In preparation for the Miami Grand Prix, Sargeant has spent two days recharging and enjoying time with his family. He shared, "It was nice to get home after Baku, I was able to spend two days at home to really recharge and get out on the water, which was nice." Sargeant seeks his first F1 points and hopes to leave his mark on the Miami Grand Prix with a strong showing.
Sargeant's journey to F1 has been a long one, and he is excited to have come full circle by competing in his first home F1 race in Miami. He began karting near the stadium and has since moved up the ranks of motorsports. Sargeant's brother, Dalton Sargeant, is a stock car racer.
As Sargeant prepares for the Miami Grand Prix, he is determined to rise to the challenge presented by the Miami International Autodrome. With his racing experience and the support of his fans and family, Sargeant hopes to make a name for himself at his first home Formula 1 race.
