Stake F1 Team unveil 2024 Formula 1 identity in spectacular fashion

Stake F1 Team

In a bold move signalling a new era, Sauber have rebranded as Stake F1 Team for the upcoming 2024 and 2025 Formula 1 seasons.

The announcement comes in the wake of Alfa Romeo's withdrawal as the title sponsor, and after initially planning to be called Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, a surprise unveiling on New Year's Day revealed the simpler moniker.

Stake, a prominent betting, entertainment, and lifestyle company, had entered the Formula 1 scene as a sponsor in the 2023 season. Now, it has ascended to prominence by securing exclusive naming rights for the team. The company's ties extend beyond motorsport, reaching into the realms of music with Canadian rapper Drake and the Premier League as Everton Football Club's shirt sponsor.

Alessandro Alunni Bravi, a representative of Stake F1 Team, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, "Stake not only successfully tapped into Formula 1’s growing fan base to enhance its own community but also introduced a completely new audience to the sport, something that benefited not only our team but also everyone else in F1."

Co-founder of Stake, Edward Craven, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the alignment of the company's values with those of Formula 1. "Fuelled by deep passion for speed, innovation, and pushing boundaries, we are now ideally positioned to take the team to unprecedented heights from 2024 and beyond," he affirmed.

Craven also teased fans with the promise of thrilling experiences both on and off the track, declaring, "The upcoming years will be a thrilling ride with some mind-blowing activations planned that will redefine excitement on and off the track. So, brace yourselves and stay tuned, as Stake F1 Team accelerates towards an exciting future."

As the curtain falls on the exhilarating 2023 season, Formula 1 enthusiasts eagerly await the dawn of 2024. Teams and drivers will reconvene after a well-deserved break, gearing up for the official F1 pre-season testing at Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Scheduled for February 23-25, this testing period at the iconic 5.412-kilometre track sets the stage for an intense season ahead, where Stake F1 Team aim to make their mark in the ever-evolving world of Formula 1.
