Red Bull's Max Verstappen reflects on team's dominance and the road to success

In a stunning display of dominance, Red Bull have set Formula 1 on fire this season, winning all 14 races thus far.

The man leading this relentless charge is Max Verstappen, who recently etched his name in history by achieving a remarkable feat – 10 consecutive Formula 1 race victories.

Verstappen's astounding success, however, comes as no surprise to him, as he believes that Red Bull have always possessed the potential for greatness, even if the car couldn't always showcase it.

Speaking to the media, Verstappen candidly acknowledged Red Bull's enduring strength as an operation, even in the face of past car limitations. He noted, "I think we always had quite high-level performance as a team, but we just didn't have that good of a car up until this year."

Last year marked the beginning of Formula 1's new era with fresh technical regulations, and Red Bull catapulted into it with impressive momentum. Since then, they've maintained an almost unassailable position, notching up wins with consistency.

One key factor contributing to their success has been their impeccable strategy and efficient pit stops, a hallmark of Red Bull's operations.

Verstappen emphasized that these strengths have always been part of the team's DNA. He explained, "Of course, you know, last year already the car was very good. But the years before we were close, winning here and there and not fighting for the Constructors'. I think everything really came together [this year].

"We understood this new regulation really well. When you have the good people also in every single position and you can achieve something like you're witnessing right now."

As Formula 1 fans eagerly anticipate the next race, the Singapore Grand Prix looms on the horizon, set to take place this upcoming weekend. This race, known for its demanding nature, unfolds at Singapore's Marina Bay Circuit, a challenging 5.063km track characterized by bumpy street surfaces and sweltering humidity.

It's a true test of a driver's skill and endurance, offering yet another thrilling chapter in the gripping 2023 Formula 1 season.
