Red Bull bounce back: Sergio Perez confident for strong F1 Japanese Grand Prix

Red Bull Racing are gearing up for redemption at the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix after a disappointing outing in Singapore last week.
Sergio Perez, alongside teammate Max Verstappen, struggled in Singapore, failing to make it out of the second qualifying segment and starting the race outside the top 10. However, the team are optimistic about their chances in Japan.
Despite their Singapore setback, Red Bull showed promise during Friday practice in Japan. Max Verstappen, in particular, demonstrated the team's potential by setting the fastest lap in both practice sessions. While Perez faced some challenges at the wheel of the RB19, he remained hopeful about the team's progress, finishing 11th in FP1 and ninth in FP2.
Perez commented on the team's performance, saying, "It was very interesting. I think in the morning, we were a bit off balance on our side. We have some very good understanding of the direction that we need to take, and certainly things are looking a lot better than they did last weekend, which is positive.
"I'm looking forward to qualifying well because degradation seems to be quite high around this circuit, especially with the hot temperatures we are expecting. I do believe that we're going to be strong in qualifying and on Sunday."
The Japanese Grand Prix, the 17th race of the Formula 1 season, is scheduled to take place at the iconic Suzuka Circuit.
