  • Ferrari'S Strategy For A Strong Second Half Of The Formula Season Unveiled

Ferrari's strategy for a strong second half of the Formula 1 season unveiled

Jock Clear

Ferrari, once hopeful of a title battle with Red Bull, have laid out their development plans for the remainder of the Formula 1 season.

Despite securing two pole positions, the Italian team have struggled to challenge Red Bull in races, primarily due to tire wear and an unpredictable car balance.

Ferrari's performance engineer, Jock Clear, revealed that while there won't be any major upgrades, the team will continue making incremental improvements to the SF-23. Clear stated, "I think there will be little bits here and there, I don't think there's going to be anything big."

He emphasized the importance of finishing the year on a strong note to build confidence for the next season. Clear added, "So if there's things that we think will carry over to next year and will be relevant, it would be sensible to get them on the car, and to get the confidence that we can get some track time on those pieces before February next year."

The upcoming challenge for Ferrari and all Formula 1 teams is the Singapore Grand Prix, scheduled for September 15-17.

This demanding race at Singapore's Marina Bay Circuit, known for its bumpy street surface and humid conditions, will test drivers' limits and provide a crucial battleground for Ferrari's pursuit of a stronger second half of the season.
