Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, are gearing up to unlock the full potential of their new SF-24 machine in 2024.

Despite clinching third place in the Constructors' standings last season, the Scuderia faced challenges navigating varying track conditions, hindering their quest for consistent success.

Reflecting on the past season, Leclerc pinpointed a critical area for improvement with the SF-24, emphasizing the need for enhanced adaptability. "The main area we have to work on is the sensitivity to the change of conditions," Leclerc stated. "We had a very peaky car last year... it would have a huge impact on our car."

Echoing his teammate's sentiments, Sainz emphasized the importance of widening the car's performance window for a smoother driving experience. "My main intention is simply for the car to be a bit more driveable, have a wider window of performance," Sainz remarked. "Just having a wider window of performance, hopefully, that will make our races a bit easier."

With Leclerc extending his tenure at Maranello and the anticipation surrounding Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari in 2025, Sainz enters his final term with the team, eager to leave a lasting mark. Despite securing the only non-Red Bull victory of the previous season at the Singapore Grand Prix, Sainz acknowledges the team's need for improvement under varying conditions.

As Formula 1 enthusiasts await the commencement of the 2024 season, all eyes are on Ferrari and their drivers as they aim to harness the full potential of the SF-24, striving for excellence on the track.

The Bahrain International Circuit will serve as the stage for the initial battle of supremacy during the official pre-season testing from February 23-25, offering a tantalizing preview of what lies ahead in the exhilarating world of Formula 1.
