UFC Fight Night 232: Full card and start time as Brendan Allen headlines against Paul Craig
Brendan Allen will be looking to secure his sixth straight victory as he prepares to square off with Scotland’s submission expert Paul Craig.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a successful spell with the UFC since debuting in 2019 and is slowly building towards a potential title shot in the future.
Allen has picked up ‘Performance of the Night’ in two of his last three fights and won his last outing by submission against Bruno Silva back in June.
The middleweight has some impressive names on his resume, including victories over Kevin Holland and Tom Breese.
Allen has endured two defeats in the UFC, with one of them coming against the current middleweight champion Sean Strickland back in 2020.
Paul Craig might be entering this bout with two defeats from three fights to his name, though the Scotsman shouldn’t be easily overlooked.
The 35-year-old is famous for his last-gasp victory over Magomed Ankalaev back in 2018 as he turned a losing fight into a shock submission win in the dying moments of the bout.
Between 2019 and 2022, the Scotsman went on a six-fight unbeaten run which included four Performances of the Night – one of those being a knockout win over Jamahal Hill.
Craig made his middleweight debut in his last outing, knocking out Andre Muniz in July. He will now be setting his sights on back-to-back wins when he squares off with Allen.
The preliminary card will get underway at 7pm GMT, while the main card is expected at around 10pm GMT. Both will be broadcast in the UK by TNT Sports.
