KSW 96: Card, start time, TV and how to watch as Pawel Pawlak and Damian Janikowski battle for gold

Pawel Pawlak

Olympic bronze medallist Damian Janikowski will challenge for the KSW middleweight championship when he takes on Pawel Pawlak in Lodz.

After three straight victories under the KSW banner, Janikowski has been elevated to title challenger as he prepares to lock horns with Pawlak.

Since December 2022, the former wrestler defeated Mateusz Kubiszyn, Cezary Kesik and Tomasz Romanowski – all by unanimous decision.

Pawlak, on the other hand, is looking for a second successful defence of his middleweight title.

The Pole is on an eight-fight winning streak, with three of them coming by way of TKO.

Pawlak won the title back in June 2023 when he defeated Romanowski at the national stadium in Warsaw.

Last December, he successfully defended his crown with a unanimous decision victory over KSW legend Michal Materla.

The Lodz-native is a former UFC contender and previously shared the octagon with the likes of Leon Edwards.

Start time and where to watch

The event, which takes place at Sport Arena in Lodz, gets underway at 19.30 CET and 18.30 BST. Fans can watch the action unfold live on Viaplay.
