PFL add former Glory world champion Cedric Doumbe to global roster

The welterweight division has got even tastier with the addition of Cedric Doumbe.

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced the signing of Cedric 'Le Meilleur' Doumbe to the league's global roster. 

The 30-year-old Cameroonian, fighting out of France, is a former Glory Welterweight kickboxing world champion, winning 75 fights with 45 by knockout.
Since transitioning to MMA, Doumbe is an undefeated mixed martial artist and widely regarded as one of the top Welterweights in the world.
The former star of Netflix's The Circle France, now brings his elite abilities to the PFL SmartCage.
"I am a unique fighter joining a unique organization in the PFL," said Doumbe. "I look forward to great success in the PFL."
"Cedric Doumbe is one of the greatest athletes in the world and a tremendous addition to the Professional Fighters League global roster," said PFL President of Fighter Operations Ray Sefo.
"Cedric dominated the sport of kickboxing and is poised to do the same in MMA. He is one of the most talented fighters in the world and will make an immediate impact here in the PFL."
Doumbe is set to attend the PFL Europe Playoff at Zenith Paris La Villette in Paris on Saturday, September 30.
PFL Europe is the PFL's first international league and showcases the very best MMA athletes across Europe.
