PFL 1 tips: Old foes meet again as Chris Wade takes on Bubba Jenkins

Old rivals square off once more in the PFL cage as “The Long Island Killer” Chris Wade takes on Bubba Jenkins for the second time.

Wade and Jenkins have been PFL rivals since 2021, where Wade won a unanimous decision to book his place in that seasons final where he would fall short against Russian Movlid Khaybulaev.

Last season, it was Wade who fell short in the semi, this time losing to Brendan Loughnane. Jenkins, on the other hand, got through his semi final bout with Ryoji Kudo only to be stopped by Loughnane in the fourth round.

Wade enters this latest bout as favourite, already holding a win over his upcoming rival Jenkins.

"The Long Island Killer" is hyper focused on defeating Jenkins and hopefully booking a rematch with Loughnane.

Despite coming in as an underdog, Jenkins is full of confidence especially if he gets the fight to the ground where he can display the wrestling skills that made him an NCAA division I champion and All-American wrestler.

A fight with massive stakes in the career of both men, the loser could be labelled a gatekeeper and be naturally worried about their place on the PFL roster.

The winner, on the other hand, will live to see another day and keep hopes alive of writing PFL history.

Key Stats
