ONE Friday Fights 37 results: Antar Kacem earns crucial win, Kaoklai produces epic comeback

One Championship delivered another memorable show which culminated with an impressive Antar Kacem victory over Rafi Bohic.

The Belarusian turned on the style late on in the main event to get the nod from all three judges in his bantamweight Muay Thai clash with Rafi Bohic.

During the early stages of the bout, it was Bohic who appeared to frustrate his opponent with a clever combination of elbows, punches and kicks.

However, by the second round, Kacem was able to find some much-needed rhythm and began to work his way back into the contest.

In the third, the Belarusian sent his opponent to the canvas with a monster left hook. That knockdown proved crucial as Kacem improved his record to 49-9.

Stunning Lamnamkhong debut

Lamnamkhong certainly made a statement as he became the first fighter from Laos to compete on the One Championship stage.

The flyweight produced a scintillating first-round knockout against Samoynoi Tor Phusuwan, stopping him with a ferocious left hook.

The 22-year-old improved his record to 46-11 with the stunning win.

Breathtaking Kaoklai comeback

Kaoklai Chor Hapayak was forced to endure serious punishment in the opening round of his bout with Punmongkol Sor Mongkolkarnchang.

The 124-pound catchweight clash appeared to be heading in Punmongkol’s favour as he landed the cleaner shots and caused visible damage to his opponent.

Sensationally, Kaoklai was able to turn his fortunes around in the second round. A series of heavy shots culminated with a pair of vicious overhand rights which sent Punmongkol to the canvas.

The capacity crowd in Bangkok could hardly believe the outcome as Kaoklai bagged his second ONE Friday Fights victory, improving his overall record to 39-14.
