Jorge Masvidal slams Conor McGregor and accuses him of being on steroids
The pair exchanged tweets but Conor McGregor later deleted his message to the 'BMF' champion.
Jorge Masvidal had said the following comments to ESPN Deportes: "He (Conor McGregor) is false. He knows tasty I am a man who hits hard and that I come to kill. I do not come to hug in the cage.
I am going to give everything inside of me to kill him. I have a little size, although now he's shooting up and putting steroids and all kinds of things (in his body), but he is still a little boy."
After criticising the Irishman over the weekend, McGregor hit back at Masival and branded him "an absolute pigeon brain".
The two-division UFC champion also said Masvidal was "stupid beyond belief" before deleting the tweet.
The full tweet read: "An absolute pigeon brain this guy is. Stupid beyond belief."
"Gamebred" then replied in hope of securing a future fight against MMA's most lucrative fighter.
"This pea brain is the biggest fight of your life. So you're either too scared or too stupid to get this check."

The pair have been linked to fighting each other for some time as they produce the most amount of money for Dana White's company.
The president has previously not been keen on the idea of matching the two having argued that Masvidal is too big for McGregor.
McGregor is plotting his return this fall and has mentioned several names as potential comeback fights, including Nate Diaz, Charles Oliveira and Kamaru Usman.
He is yet to fight since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight at UFC 264.
Masvidal meanwhile has lost two of his last three fights - the most recent being a unanimous decision loss to Colby Covington at UFC 272.
He allegedly punched Covington outside of the octagon resulting in multiple felony charges.
